Charity

Big Red Curtain has always been enthusiastic about helping small local charities before we were founded in 1997 our principal and founder helped and volunteered by teaching and performing for various charities and in the earlier years of Big Red Curtain Staccato Choir was ran entirely for charity events and created no income for teachers involved in the choir this has always been part of our philosophy. Now more recently we have a designated charity for the year where we raise money for the local charity by productions and events enabling is to give something back by doing something our students and teachers love - Performing!

We still keep the original spirit of the Staccato choir envisaged in our newer version the Vivace Singing Group a non-profit making organisation (soon to be registered charity) that gives the opportunity of being taught by the same great teachers as Big Red Curtain for a minimal fee of £3 per person per session which covers only the hall hire and resources costs. This enables us to give something back to the community.

Charitable Singing Group

Vivace Singing Group Charity Non-Profit Making Organisation

The singing group is all about fun and performing the group is a non-profit making organisation which is ran by our teachers voluntarily - they receive no income or wage from providing this group.

Our main objectives are to provide affordable tuition in a group environment which allows students to work together and form a performance ensemble which can then go on to perform at charitable events and in aid of other various charities. We choose a charity to support on a year to year basis and try to raise money for them by performing at functions and holding theatre events such as pantomimes.

Unfortunately as this is only a small group we audition new members and places aren't always available, there is also a small charge which covers room hire and printing and reference costs only the current charge is £3 per person per session.
